Viscira Wins 2011 Telly Award for 3D Animation

San Francisco, CA, April 18, 2011— Viscira™, a leading provider of interactive, new-media and technology solutions for the life sciences industry, recently learned that their 3D educational animation entitled,"Biology of HER2 Disease" received a Silver Telly Award. The Silver Telly Award represents the highest honor for each specific entry category.

The award-winning interactive tradeshow animation featured four individual modules addressing specific aspects of the disease of HER2 positive breast cancer, and potential therapeutic pathways and approaches. The animation debuted at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in December 2010 where oncology healthcare professionals interacted with the different modules based on their touchscreen selection.

More recently, the piece was shown in June 2011 at the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago where it continued to receive positive feedback from conference attendees.

With literally thousands of entries from all 50 US states and numerous countries, the winning of the Telly Award is an honor for Viscira. Viscira's Director of Animation, Hagop (Kane) Kaneboughazian was very pleased. "This is exciting news, and great recognition for all the hard work our production team at Viscira is doing. We will continue to push the envelope and utilize the most advanced 3D techniques and animation approaches to maximize visual impact and scientific accuracy," he said.
