Viscira, a leading provider of digital marketing solutions and software products for the life sciences industry, today announced the addition of Russell Phillips, PhD, to its growing Medical Content team. Phillips joined the company last month in a core strategic leadership role as Scientific Director. He also helped define the corporate communications strategy for the recent IPO of a digital healthcare solutions company.

"Russell is a fantastic addition to our team," said Heather McCune, Senior Scientific Director at Viscira. "His hire demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to delivering the highest level of content strategy and medical writing. We’re very excited to have Russell on board and look forward to the strategic insights he will bring to our internal teams and clients."

"I’m thrilled to join this successful Viscira team,” commented Phillips. “With their unique capabilities and innovative solutions, I’m excited to be with a company that is a recognized leader in life sciences digital marketing."

Phillips has a PhD in Experimental Psychology/Behavioral Neuroscience from NYU and completed postdoctoral work in Neurobiology at both Boston University and Stanford University.
