Viscira® Announces Version 2.0 of its Interactive Resource Library (IRL) Platform for the Life Sciences Industry

Viscira, a leading provider of digital marketing solutions and software products for the life sciences industry, today announced the release of Version 2.0 of its Interactive Resource Library (IRL) for life sciences clients. This mobile presentation platform, developed for Medical Science Liaison (MSL) use, allows MSLs quick and easy access to all the resources they need for effective, engaging educational presentations.

The IRL also functions as a digital briefcase, enabling field medical teams to seamlessly present relevant clinical data, disease education videos, and other key scientific materials to support their face-to-face clinical discussions with healthcare practitioners.

With this release, Viscira has integrated a number of new, innovative features within the platform to provide additional value for users, including role-based content visibility and functional privileges, automated publishing and updating of content, the ability for non-technical system administrators to convert PowerPoint slides into HTML-based presentations, and enhanced metrics and analytics reporting. The user interface has also been redesigned to make the tool even more user friendly and intuitive for MSL teams.

The IRL incorporates easy and secure web-based administration. It can be launched as a stand-alone application or seamlessly integrated into industry-leading CLM platforms such as Veeva. Additionally, it can also be linked directly to Salesforce accounts if used as a stand-alone application.

"We are seeing significant growth and adoption of technology-based applications by medical and scientific affairs teams. Our Interactive Resource Library platform arms MSL teams with dynamic presentation capabilities and content management functionality that are tailored to optimize field interactions with HCPs," explains Jeff Asada, Vice President of Business Development. "Field medical teams are now able to quickly publish and manage field-level content, such as slide decks, pipeline info, videos, scientific posters, response letters, and medical information requests, both within the US and globally."
